One of the most popular, thrill-packed, franchises of all time is back with even more action and more Autobots and Decepticons! In the highly anticipated Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to product humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.Amazon.com
Pure. Popcorn. Entertainment. That’s an exact classification of director Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Think of Transformers 1 on crack. In other words, this sequel took all of the extreme elements that made fans love the first movie and increased them exponentially. The action is nonstop, with battles and explosions from start to finish. The camera (without any subtlety) exploits Megan Fox’s hotness to the max. As if she weren’t enough, a new sex kitten (Isabel Lucas) is thrown into the equation. Shia LaBeouf is as charismatic as ever, and fills the starring role with ease. And then there’s the humor. Sam’s parents (Kevin Dunn and Julie White)provided some semi-raunchy laugh-out-loud moments in the first movie, but now they take it to the next level. Sometimes it seems like they are trying a little too hard, but it is still hilarious.
As far as the “plot” goes, the writers didn’t waste much time–it’s really just a context for the giant-robot death matches and dramatic slow-mo sequences. The movie kicks off two years later where the Autobots have formed an alliance with the U.S. government, creating an elite team led by Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel), in an effort to snuff out any remaining Decepticons that show up. The bad guys keep coming, and it turns out that a much more menacing force than Megatron is out there–and it is looking for something on Earth that is tied to the very origin of the Transformers race. Fans of the franchise will be delighted by the addition of many new robot characters (there are well over 40 in the sequel, versus only 13 in the first). The second Transformers has shaped up to be one of the worst reviewed and most successful movies of all time. This strange pairing is really just an indication that this movie has one purpose: to entertain. The creators didn’t want to waste time bogging down the action and drama with substance–which was arguably a good decision. –Jordan Thompson

Auwsome movie because there are way cooler robots. And the battles are better than the first. It is even better than Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith. Even though Prime dies in the movie still a good movie. So the people that read alot read my review and see Transformers 2 Revenge Of The Fallen.

What a disappointment. Here’s why: The movie starts by teaching the lie of evolution. Throughout the movie, the actors quote Bible phrases in a mocking manner. Also, there are lustful displays of women (his girlfriend and college women in dorm settings). Technology will not save mankind. Technology will not destroy mankind. Technology is lifeless. Robots won’t destroy the world; God will. Jesus returns in May 2011. “…the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9)

There’s a reason why Forbes listed Shia LaBeouf as the most bankable actor of his generation in Hollywood today. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen sequel picks up where the first left off. The plot line to this one is indeed a bit darker, but the Witwicky’s are a riot as they were in the first. The actions is Michael Bay at what he does best. Despite Shia’s hand injury prior to filming he is a total pro and holds nothing back in the action department. Goes to show why the guy earns some serious bank. It’s none stop fun from beginning to end. It’s a great summer flick that you’ll enjoy for a long time. I’m a big fan of the first and this one doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for the 3rd installment of the series, I’m sure you’ll feel the same when you get done watching Revenge… It’s definitely worth the money!

Growing up watching the cartoons were a blast but the movies are even more interesting. I loved the first movie and the second is even better; especially when your kids are the next generation of fans and get excited seeing their favorite character kick some butt.If you’re exspecting this movie to have lots of action then yes you will definitely get what you want; from the beginning all the way to the end. If you are like me and actually feel this movie then you will find that there is also some humor and even a bit of saddness.
Note: This movie continues 2 years into the future. Everything else is too good to tell. It is better to see the movie for yourself….
